This Deluxe Edition was released a week after Knopf Eldest Limited Edition, The Deluxe Edition includes an excerpt of Brisingr, a poster of Glaedr (which would become the cover art for Brisingr), the history of Alagaesia, art by Christopher Paolini, and a list of characters, places, objects, and dwarf clans. Unlike the Limited Edition Eldest, the Deluxe edition had no dustcover sticker, the sticker was instead printed into the dustcover.
